Family

The myth in this country is that almost any combination of one or more adults + children = a family. Yes, it may be a family, but it is not the ideal of a family. The ideal should always be lifted up and aspired unto as a standard for raising children. Single-parent households have more problem kids than intact family households. That's a fact. Now that society is beginning to recognize homosexual marriage, there is a real possibility that homosexual pairs will soon be adopting children. This will be the worst possible scenario. Who will be the role model? How will kids be able to get married and have a family of their own when they've been raised by two dads or two moms? A society that tolerates homosexual behavior will see homosexuality increase within it. I expect to see dysfunctionality among children increase in America. Things are bad now, but they're not as bad as they're going to get in the near future. America is self-destructing from within.

Chinese Drivers

Didn't the Chinese invent the internal combustion engine 3000 years ago along with kites, paper money, difficult writing, interesting hats, little feet, gunpowder, first teashop on the moon, golf, quick sex and the theory that in the future they would rule the world so they could drive how the hell they like?. In the Chinese parallel universe they really are the best drivers.

Lotsa Car for the Money

By Crispin Robles from Diamond Bar, CA on 8/30/2007

4out of 5

Auto Interior: Spacious Cabin, Attractive Look

Pros: Handles Well, Attractive Design, Smooth Ride, Fun to drive, Adequate Power

Best Uses: Commuting, Long Trips

Describe Yourself: Auto Enthusiast

Automobile journalists will find plenty of fault with the Pontiac G6 GT because it's not the BMW or Lexus by which they judge other vehicles. Professional reviewers will complain about the handling, power, seating, instruments, baggage space and anything else that doesn't meet their spoiled expectations. Screw them. You are getting a beautifully designed automobile for the money when you purchase a Pontiac G6 GT. The target demographic this car is aimed at can't or don't want to spend the bucks on some overpriced luxury/sports coupe that doesn't do all that much more than this G6. There is plenty of power with the 3.5L V6, and I'm consistently getting 30+ MPG highway with this baby. Yes, the instruments could have been more readable, but so what? I can read them just fine. The sound system is great, especially if you put a sub in the trunk. The ride is smooth, and it doesn't isolate you from the road like more expensive offerings, and that's a good thing as far as I'm concerned. For half the cost of a Lexus, which is nothing more than a glorified Toyota, you get a car that's fun to drive, comfortable, stylish and solid. I don't know how Pontiac kept the price so low, but they did it without compromising on quality. Bottom line: You can't go wrong for the price.
